Anselmo-Merna senior MaShayla Burnett signed her letter of intent Monday to play college volleyball for Doane University in Crete, NE. Burnett was one of the top attackers for the Lady Coyotes this season finishing with 212 kills for the year helping AM finish the season at 20-11 overall. Burnett shared with KCNI/KBBN sports what made Doane appealing to her.
MaShayla also talked about the parts of her game that she feels have improved the most during her time in high school.
Burnett plans to pursue a degree in Elementary Education.
