Broken Bow Wrestling Claims Team Title at Home Invite

The Broken Bow wrestling team claimed the team title at the annual Bow Invite held Saturday at the Indian gym.  Broken Bow won the team title with 237 points followed by St. Paul in second with 170.5 points.  The Bow JV’s were fourth with 85 points.  Broken Bow finished with 7 individual champions and 4 runner-up finishes.  Champions included Cyrus Wells (126 lbs.), Skeeter Campbell (132 lbs.), Trey Garey (138 lbs.), Connor Wells (145 lbs.), Kaden Powers (182 lbs.), Lathan Duda (195 lbs.), and Sawyer Bumgarner (285 lbs.).  Placing 2nd in their weight class were Dalton Garey (106 lbs.), Wilson Cucul Tzin (113 lbs.), Jack Myers (152 lbs.), and Keifer Anderson (220 lbs.)

South Loup also competed at the Bow Invite finishing 9th in the team standings with 36 points.  The Bobcats were led by Logan Peterson who finished runner-up at 120 lbs.
