The Broken Bow Spirit White 18U girls softball team traveled to Kearney Wednesday night for a double header with the Kearney Crush.
The Spirit were shut out in game one 9-0. The Crush put the game away in the 4th inning when they scored 7 runs while the Spirit were held scoreless and collected only 4 hits in the game.
Bow battled back though in game 2. The Spirit matched Kearney run for run to start the second game of the doubleheader as the score was tied 4-4 at the end of 2 innings. The Crush would scratch across 2 runs in the 4th and hang on for a 6-4 victory. Joscelyn Coleman helped lead the way offensively in game two going 2 for 3 with an RBI.
