Broken Bow held off St Paul Thursday night to win the C1-10 girls basketball sub district title 32-26. Kali Staples was leading scorer for Broken Bow with 8 points as the Lady Indians improve to 20-5 on the season. Bow will now play in the district final on February 13.
In other area subdistrict action, Mullen defeated Sandhills Thedford 41-25 to win the D2-9 subdistrict and Elm Creek defeated South Loup 35-28 to win the C2-11 subdistrict title.
