Broken Bow Girls Golf Places Third at GICC Invite

The Broken Bow girls golf team finished third as a team at the GICC Invite held at Indianhead Golf Course in Grand Island on Thursday. The tournament was won by Kearney Catholic with a team total 393. Columbus Scotus was second with a 404 and Broken Bow was third with a 425. The Lady Indians were led by Madison Jackson who was third with a round of 90 which was just 4 shots behind the individual champion Addison Mitchell. Graycee Oeltjen put together a strong back nine performance to rebound and place 15th with a 105. Coach Kevin Cooksley noted after the meet that Emery Custer and Joscelyn Coleman shot personal bests during the tournament. Next up for the Bow girls golf team will be a dual with Ravenna on Tuesday at the Broken Bow country club followed by the Broken Bow Invite on Thursday (9/12).
