Broken Bow Football Returns Home Friday to Face O’Neill

After back to back games on the road, the Broken Bow football team returns home Friday to face O’Neill at Mark Russell Field.  The Indians are still looking for their first win of the season.  Broken Bow has been very close to breaking into the win column falling to Ogallala 28-20 in week one and then saw Gothenburg score in the final 40 seconds to give the Swedes the win in week 3.  First year head coach Carlie Wells told KCNI/KBBN sports that he and the coaching staff have continued to see improvement each and every week.  Something every football team strives for is consistency.  To be consistently good from week to week and from play to play.  Coach Wells talked about how they work toward that consistency in practice.

O’Neill will enter Friday’s matchup at 1-3 overall with their lone win coming against Valentine in week 2.  Coach Wells talks about the matchup with the Eagles.

Friday’s game will be broadcast on KCNI 1280 AM / 96.3 FM and on the web at kcni1280.com.  Coverage begins with the Custer Federal State Bank Friday Night Lights pregame show at 6 pm followed by the kickoff at 7.
