Broken Bow cross country coach Jason Daffer has been selected as the Southwest Conference boys cross country coach of the year. The Broken Bow boys cross country team placed first at the Southwest conference championships this season. It was their first conference title since 1971. The Broken Bow boys team also finished as the runners-up at the C5 district meet and qualified as a team for the Class C state cross country championships.
The SWC girls cross country coach of the year was Tom Sughroue of McCook.
