Broken Bow CC Invite Results

The annual Broken Bow cross country invitational took place Saturday at the Broken Bow Country Club. Only four points separated the top 3 teams in the boys standings. Gothenburg was the boys team champion with St. Paul two points behind in second and Broken Bow was just four points behind finishing in third. The boys individual champion was Conner Wells of St. Paul in a winning time of 16:31.75. Broken Bow had five runners finish in the top 20. Bow was led by Daine Wardyn who finished 4th with a time of 17:04.67.  Noah Osmond – 10th (17:49.67) ; Trey Hurlburt – 16th (18:10.37) ; Brock Oeltjen – 17th (18:14.73) ; Casey Faulkenberry – 19th (18:30.59). Colin Rooney of Sandhills Valley was 7th (17:35.6) and Ty Greenland of Arcadia/Loup City was 18th (18:24.63)

The girls team title went to McCook with Minden finishing as the runner-up. Broken Bow was 6th in the girls team standings and South Loup was 8th. The girls individual champion was Samantha Rodewald of McCook in a winning time of 19:17.24. Makinley Tobey of Broken Bow finished in the top ten placing 7th (20:55.16) and Landyn Cole of South Loup was right behind in 8th (21:02.95). Jessi Heyen of Arcadia/Loup City finished just outside the top 20 finishing 21st in a time of 22:20.2
