It’s hard to believe by looking outside but practice for the springs sports season has begun. The Broken Bow boys golf team is waiting for mother nature to cooperate but unfortunately that may be awhile according to the forecast. The team is doing their best to do what they can in preparation for the upcoming season. Boys golf coach Ed Schaaf told Central Nebraska’s Sports Source that they are very fortunate to have a golf simulator to use but with 15 participants on the team this year everyone must wait their turn. Broken Bow qualified as a team for the Class C state tournament last season with all members of that team returning this season. This year Bow moves up to Class B. The Indians are scheduled to begin their season at Gothenburg on March 21st but like so many things right now – it depends on the weather.
