Ord hosted its annual boys golf invitational on Tuesday. Grand Island Central Catholic was the team champion with a team score of 316. Ord was second (334) and O’Neill was third (346). Broken Bow placed fourth with a 360 followed by Burwell in fifth with a 371. Arcadia/Loup City placed 7th in the team standings with a 374. Broken Bow placed two golfers in the top 15 as Blake Denson placed 8th with an 83 and Austin Harvey was 15th with an 87. Burwell was led by Barak Birch who shot a team low 79 which was 5th best on the day and Arcadia/Loup City was led by Hayden Griffith who finished 13th with an 86. Bowdie Fox of GICC was the individual champion with a low round of 72.
