South Loup hosted its annual boys golf invite on Friday at the Arnold Golf Course. Six shots is all that separated the top four teams. Sutherland won the team title with a 405 followed by South Loup who was second with a 410. Anselmo-Merna and Hyannis tied for third and fourth with a 411. Brendon Walker of Mullen won the individual title with a low round of 82. Others from the KCNI/KBBN coverage area who placed in the top ten included Colbi Smith of South Loup (3rd – 85), Brett Downing of Sandhills/Thedford (4th – 91), Cole Kramer of Sandhills/Valley (6th – 97), Carson Leibhart of Anselmo-Merna (7th – 97), Aaron Bartak of Anselmo-Merna (8th – 98).
