The Nebraska Schools Activities Association has released the brackets and pairings for boys sub district basketball tournaments which begin next week.
The Broken Bow Indians are the #3 seed in the C1-10 sub at Burwell High School. Broken Bow will play Ord at 7:30 on Tuesday (2/25). O’Neill is the top seed in the sub district and will play Valentine on Tuesday at 6. All Broken Bow games from the C1-10 sub district will be broadcast on KCNI 96.3 FM.
Broken Bow will be the host school for the D1-10 sub district tournament. Burwell and Twin Loup will meet one another on Monday (2/24) with the winner advancing to play the top seed Ansley/Litchfield on Tuesday (2/25). In Tuesday’s other matchup, the #2 seed South Loup will face the #3 seed Anselmo-Merna. All games from the D1-10 sub district tournament will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM.
Arcadia/Loup City is the #4 seed at the C2-8 sub district tournament in Ord. The Rebels will play Palmer on Monday (2/24) with the winner advancing to the next day to play top seed GICC.
Sandhills/Thedford is the #4 seed at the D1-11 sub district in Hershey. The Knights will face the top seed North Platte St. Pat’s on Tuesday (2/25) with the winner advancing to play the winner of Maxwell and Maywood Hayes Center.
Mullen is the top seed at the D2-10 sub district to be played at North Platte St. Pat’s. The Broncos will face the winner of Monday’s game between Sandhills Valley and Medicine Valley.
