The Broken Bow wrestling team faced some of their toughest competition of the season as the participated at the Valentine Invitational this past weekend. Broken Bow placed third in the final team standings with 206 points. Winner, South Dakota was the team champion with 243.5 points and Valentine was second with 231.5 points. Broken Bow’s Casey Faulkenberry claimed the title at 126 pounds by defeating Clayton Harris of David City by a 6-1 decision in the championship match. Bow had 3 other wrestlers make the championship match of their weight class and finish as the runner-up. Lathan Duda was 2nd at 170, Colton Duda was runner-up at 195, and Drew Drake placed 2nd at 285 lbs.
