It’s hard to believe but the 2019 fall sports season is right around the corner. To celebrate, the Broken Bow Athletic Booster Club will be hosting its annual fall sports kickoff. Central Nebraska’s Sports Source will be there broadcasting live today from 4-8 pm visiting with coaches and athletes as we introduce you to this year’s Indians fall sports teams. The event will take place outside at the Kinkaider Brewing Company. The Broken Bow girls and boys cross country teams will be featured during the 4 o’clock hour, Broken Bow girls golf in the 5 o’clock hour, the Broken Bow volleyball team in the 6 o’clock hour, and the Broken Bow football team will be featured during the final hour between 7 and 8. Entrance into the event is free and the booster club will be serving a meal deal for $6 featuring brats and burgers. Those who attend will also be able to purchase some of the latest Broken Bow Indians fan apparel and can purchase tickets for the upcoming Indian Nation Banquet fundraiser which will take place August 24th at the One Box Convention Center. The radio broadcast of the event will air live on KBBN 95.3 FM and is sponsored by A-Z Lawn Pro and Landscaping, Grocery Kart, the law office of Sennett, Duncan, Jenkins and Wickham, and Gary’s Super Foods.
