The Broken Bow volleyball team improved to 4-3 this season by collecting two straight set wins at the Cozad triangular Thursday night. The Lady Indians opened with a straight set win over Cozad by scores of 25-9, 25-15. Kali Staples had 8 kills to help lead the Bow attack. Broken Bow would follow with a straight set win over North Platte St. Pat’s. Bow was able to control set one winning 25-13. St. Pat’s came out strong in set #2 jumping out to a 7-3 lead. Following a timeout, Bow would respond with a 7-1 run to regain control and would go on to win the set 25-19. Kya Scott had 13 kills in the win. Broken Bow will next play at Lexington on Thursday (9/17). The match will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM. In the other match of the Cozad triangular, North Platte St. Patrick’s def. Cozad, 25-16, 25-9
