Several area boys golf teams will compete today for the opportunity to qualify for the boys state golf tournament. Broken Bow, Cozad, and Gothenburg will be among the teams competing today at the B4 district meet which will take place at Hillside Golf Course in Sidney. In Class D, Burwell will be at the D2 district meet while Anselmo-Merna, South Loup, Sandhills Valley, and Sandhills/Thedford will be among the teams competing at the D4 district meet at the Hi-Line Country Club. The Mullen boys golf team will be at the D5 district meet. The first three teams and the first ten individual places plus ties in each district will qualify for the NSAA Championship.
