The Arcadia/Loup City Rebels will host Burwell tonight in the quarterfinals of the Class D1 playoffs. The Rebels have playoff wins against Elm Creek and Hemingford while Burwell has advanced with wins over Palmer and Sutherland. The two met earlier in the regular season with Burwell coming out on top 21-12. Tonight’s game will be broadcast live on KBBN 95.3 FM and on kbbn.com. Kickoff is scheduled for 6pm from Arcadia with radio coverage beginning around 5:40. The winner of today’s game will advance to the state semifinals and play the winner of today’s North Central / Dundy County Stratton playoff game. Other D1 quarterfinal matchups today include Creighton at Lutheran High Northeast and Guardian Angels Central Catholic at Exeter Milligan/Friend.
