Ansley/Litchfield and Sandhills/Thedford begin play at the girls state basketball tournament on Thursday. Sandhills/Thedford qualified for the Class D2 tournament by winning the D2-5 district championship. The Lady Knights will open play against top seed Falls City Sacred Heart at Lincoln North Star high school. Tip off is set for 9am. The game will be broadcast live on KBBN 95.3 FM and on KBBN.com with coverage beginning around 8:45.
