In games broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM Thursday night, the Anselmo-Merna girls and Twin Loup boys picked up wins last night. AM defeated Twin Loup in the girls game 46-26 and Twin Loup defeated AM in the boys game 54-34. In the girls game, Alexis Zimmer led the way for the Lady Coyotes as she scored a game high 12 points coming off the bench. Twin Loup was led by Karson Kirwan who finished with a team high 11. In the boys game, Twin Loup was led by Meek Harris who finished with a game high 16 points and Hunter Kraus also finished in double figures with 12. AM was led by Seth Miller who had a team high 9 points.
In other area action Thursday night, Mullen swept a doubleheader from Sandhills/Thedford. Mullen won the girls game 42-27 and Mullen won the boys game 62-43.
