A Big Day of Volleyball Coverage on KCNI/KBBN – MNAC and Broken Bow Featured

The 2020 Mid Nebraska Activities Conference Volleyball tournament begins today with opening round games in Mullen and Arnold.  Action begins at 3 pm central time as Twin Loup takes on Brady in Arnold and Anselmo-Merna will face Arthur County in Mullen.  The Twin Loup / Brady match will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and the Anselmo-Merna / Arthur County match will be broadcast on KCNI 1280 AM / 96.3 FM.  Those matches will be followed by Sandhills/Thedford vs Hyannis in Mullen and Cody-Kilgore will face Sandhills Valley in Arnold.  The winner of Sandhills/Thedford / Hyannis will advance to play Mullen while the Cody-Kilgore / Sandhills Valley winner will advance to play South Loup in Arnold.  The South Loup match will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM with match time scheduled for around 6 pm central.  Today’s winners will advance to the semifinals which will take place on Saturday in Mullen.  Saturday’s semifinals, 3rd place consolation, and championship matches will be broadcast live on KBBN 95.3 FM and video streamed live on Sandhills Express.com facebook page.

The Broken Bow volleyball team will travel to Kearney tonight for a top ten showdown with the Kearney Catholic Stars.  Broken Bow is on a 19 match winning and is 21-3.  Kearney Catholic is 26-3 overall and have won 10 in a row.  The Lady Indians are ranked #8 this week by the Omaha World Herald and the Lady Stars are ranked #3.  Tonight’s top ten battle will be broadcast on KCNI 1280 AM / 96.3 FM and will be video streamed live on the sandhillsexpress.com facebook page.
