2021 State Wrestling Tournament Begins Today

The 2021 NSAA state wrestling championships will begin today at the CHI Health Center in Omaha. Because of COVID concerns, the tournament has been extended to four days and will have a different format this year. Classes A and D will wrestle today and tomorrow with Classes B and C wrestling on Friday and Saturday. Class A competition will begin at 9 am with Class D competition beginning at 5 pm today. There will be four rounds of competition today including the quarterfinals as well as the first and second round of consolations. Central Nebraska’s Sports Source will be live at the CHI Health Center with live play by play match coverage of all wrestlers competing from the KCNI/KBBN coverage area. Today’s coverage will begin with the Class D tournament this evening. Below is a list of the area wrestlers that will be covered.
