Woman Who Stole Guns, Knives is Wanted by Authorities

CLARKS - A woman who worked with a known Columbus felon to burglarize a home of several weapons and electronics, is wanted by authorities, says officials. The Merrick County Sheriff's Office says they are currently searching for Kelsey Hallagin, 20, of Fullerton who was found guilty of burglarizing a home in Clarks and stealing several guns, knives, and electronics. Hallagin told authorities that she planned the burglary with Shane Glasgow, of Columbus, who authorities referred to as a known felon who will place innocent third parties in harm's way. The affidavit says after stealing the goods, they took the items back to Glasgow's Columbus residence.  At the residence, Glasgow allegedly gave his roommate, David Hayek, a Smith and Wesson handgun that had been stolen, and Hayek allegedly said he was going to commit a retaliation murder in Omaha with the weapon, said Hallagin to authorities. Hayek is also a convicted felon, says the affidavit. Hallagin told authorities they had also hidden a .50 muzzle loader, which they stole from the residence, in a culvert in Platte County, and a State Trooper was able to recover the muzzle loader from the described location, says the affidavit. A court ordered bench warrant was issued for Hallagin's arrest in the case on Thursday. If you know of Hallagin's location, the Merrick County Sheriff's Office asks you to call them at 308-946-2345.
