STANTON - A Cuming County teenager was injured after a rollover accident late Thursday.
Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger says the 16-year old Wisner teen was taken to Faith Regional Health Services after the accident on Old Highway 8 about 11:20 p.m. Thursday.
Sheriff Unger says the girl was eastbound on the highway, when the car left the road and rolled onto its side, striking a tree.
Unger says the girl suffered a possible neck injury, but added that the injuries would likely have been much worse had she not been wearing her seat belt.
