Wanted Man Found with Drugs Outside Hwy 81 Gas Station

RURAL BUTLER COUNTY - A wanted man was taken into custody by authorities, after they found him with drugs, outside a gas station on Highway 81, south of Columbus. Butler County Sheriff Marcus Siebken says in a press release, that at approximately 5:40 p.m. on Sunday, a deputy responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked outside a gas station along the Butler/Polk County line.  The deputy located the vehicle and found Christian Sidzyik, who was wanted out of both Madison and Custer County for outstanding warrants, says Siebken. Sidzyik was taken into custody, after an investigation, and is facing additional charges for felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension, and false reporting, says Siebken. Sidzyik was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance at the time the deputy approached him, says Siebken.
