In the Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletic Association pre-season polls, the University of Nebraska at Kearney Football team is in a familiar place: the bottom of the list.
The Lopers have struggled the past few seasons, having garner only one tally in the win column over the last two seasons combined. However, despite the disappointing news from the pre-season polls, the Lopers have reason for optimism.

The facilities in Kearney have been improved over the offseason, and the incoming recruiting class, featuring multiple athletes from Custer County, is sure to bring an influx in talent.
