The sun is shining, but roads remain slick across the region

The snow appears to have moved out of the area, but it's still windy. Slick roads and sidewalks remain a concern. Hazardous travel conditions are expected throughout the day Thursday due to freezing drizzle/rain, stiff winds and snow across most of eastern Nebraska, western Iowa and northwest Missouri. A winter weather advisory that was in effect for the entire area was cancelled early in the afternoon. Schools throughout the region cancelled classes Thursday, but Lincoln schools remain open. Here's a full list of closings reported to [email protected].
FLIGHT INFORMATION
No arrival or departure delays and no cancellations have been announced at Eppley Airfield. Eppley officials urged travelers to check with their airlines before arriving at the airport.
