BROKEN BOW–Make plans to be at the Broken Bow Public Library (626 S D St, Broken Bow, NE 68822) on Thursday, June 7 at 7:00 p.m. for performer Matthew Gurnsey and his rousing performance of traditional Irish and Scottish music. Gurnsey, who does his programs as “The Kilted Man,” charms his audiences, sweeping them into tales of wayward voyages, unrequited love and the vibrantly colorful lives of the every-man beloved of many Irish tales.

His unique talents with traditional Celtic instruments such as the concertina, bodhran, bones and mandolin, add an air of authenticity to each piece. “The Kilted Man” program is sponsored by the Broken Bow Library Foundation and there is no charge for this family-friendly program.
