Stanton Teen Gets Prison Time for Road Rage Incident

WEST POINT - A Stanton teen is heading to prison for firing a gun out the window of a moving vehicle. Eighteen year old Gage Kment was sentenced to a total of two to four years in prison in Cuming County District Court on Thursday. Kment pleaded guilty to terroristic threat and felony weapon charges in August. He was charged after what authorities say was a road rage incident last year. Cuming County authorities say Kment was the passenger in a vehicle heading down Highway 275 near Beemer, when he fired a gun in the general direction of another vehicle. No one was hurt. Kment’s sentence won’t begin until he finishes a 90-day sentence he received in Stanton County District Court this past Monday for drug and weapons possession.
