The South Loup Lady Bobcats claimed the title at the 33rd Seven Valleys Volleyball Tournament in Callaway on Saturday (9/9). In first round matches : South Loup def. Brady ; Ansley/Litchfield def. Twin Loup ; Anselmo-Merna def. Mullen ; Sandhills/Thedford def. Medicine Valley. In the semifinals, South Loup and Ansley/Litchfield played the match of the tournament. Ansley/Litchfield won the opening set 26-24 while South Loup was able to come back and take the 2nd set 28-26 and won in the 3rd 25-19. In the other semifinal, Anselmo-Merna def. Sandhills/Thedford in straight sets 25-17, 25-23. In the championship match, South Loup def. Anselmo-Merna in straight sets by scores of 25-19, 25-17.
