The South Loup Bobcats will host Medicine Valley Monday evening in the Class D1 state football semifinals. Both teams are undefeated at 11-0. South Loup’s run through the playoffs has included wins against Dundy County Stratton (48-22), Elm Creek (36-22) and CWCE in the quarterfinals (54-15). Medicine Valley has advanced with wins over Cambridge (42-20), Hemingford (60-22), and Perkins County in the quarterfinals (48-26). The winner will advance to the state championship game which will be played Nov. 20 at 10:15 AM at Lincoln’s Memorial Stadium. Monday’s game will be broadcast live on KBBN 95.3 FM and on kbbn.com. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 pm with pregame coverage beginning at 5:30 pm.
