CALLAWAY— A Wednesday, July 15 kitchen fire at Shotgun Annie’s in Callaway has forced the closure of the restaurant for the time being. Owner Candice Burnett told KCNI/KBBN that due to a fire beginning to get out of control in the kitchen, she was forced to pull the fire suppression system to avoid catastrophic damage.
Due to the suppression system being used, Burnett stated that there is a large mess to clean up, and because of this, she will be forced to close the restaurant. As soon as the clean-up has completed, Burnett will announce the re-opening of the restaurant.
