CENTRAL CITY - A sex offender is facing multiple felonies after authorities say he lied or didn't report where he was living. Shawn Sommerville, 27, is in both county and district court for felony violations of the sex offender registry, says court records. Sommerville initially failed to report where he was living back in November of 2017, and was arrested for living at a Central City residence, while his registration showed a Falls City residence, says an arrest affidavit. That case is now in District Court, where Sommerville plead not guilty,  and a trial is scheduled for March 21st, says court records. Sommerville was charged for a second time, after authorities say he lied about his current residence two times in December of 2017, before authorities found him living at a home in Chapman, says an arrest affidavit. A first appearance is scheduled for that case on December 24th, says court records. Sommerville was found guilty of sexually assaulting a minor in 2012 in Gage County, according to the Nebraska Sex Offender Registry.
