Serial Shoplifter Accused of Theft in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Neb. - A woman that has been convicted of theft numerous times since 2006 has been accused of theft in Columbus. 31-year-old Ashley Conklin is accused of felony theft, which would be her fifth shoplifting conviction in the last five years. Records say Conklin took over $155 of merchandise from a Columbus business on March 21st. She was convicted of theft in Dodge County in 2006, 2010, 2011 and 2017, which makes her eligible for felony theft on any subsequent shoplifting charges.
