Schuyler Police: Man Threatens to Kill Woman After She Refuses to Give Him Drug Money

SCHUYLER, Neb. - Schuyler Police say a man assaulted and threatened to kill a woman after she refused to give him money to buy drugs. 19-year-old Alejandro Hernandez is charged with felony terroristic threats and misdemeanor assault after an incident on February 23rd. Records say that the woman told police that Hernandez asked her for drug money and began breaking things inside the Schuyler residence when she said no. Documents say he then threw a phone at her head and told her if she called the police, he would kill her. Police say the woman appeared visibly shaken and had reason to believe that Hernandez would kill her. He is scheduled to appear in Colfax County court on March 20th.
