Schuyler Man Crashes Vehicle into Bridge Guard-Rail Near Humphrey, Given DUI Citation

HUMPHREY, Neb. - A Schuyler man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after he ran his vehicle into a bridge guard-rail, according to the sheriff's office. 20-year-old Chase Hron was arrested for DUI in the early morning hours of November 18th. Platte County Sheriff Ed Wemhoff says a deputy was called out to assist with a flat tire on a small bridge on HWY 91 near Humphrey. Wemhoff said that when the deputy arrived they noticed Hron was impaired and that he damaged more than just his tires. Hron suffered $12,000 of damage to his vehicle with an additional $1,000 damage to the bridge.
