Schuyler Chamber and Comm. Development Announce Collaboration

SCHUYLER - Schuyler's Chamber of Commerce and Community Development will be pooling resources in an effort to better serve the area. The Schuyler Chamber announced on Monday that the two organizations have reached a 12 month agreement. The collaboration agreement, will mean the two organizations will pool resources and personnel., says a press release. The Board of Directors approved the collaboration via a memorandum of understanding. Winnie Harbison is the first Administrative Assistant for the Chamber, Housing Specialist Bryan Bywater will relocate to the Schuyler Homestead Center in mid-September, and the Chamber Executive Director and Schuyler Economic Development Coordinator positions will be combined into a single office at the Homestead Center, as a part of the deal. The collaboration is currently scheduled to expire in 2018, says a press release.
