Police: Man Arrested After Admitting Intent to Sell Marijuana

COLUMBUS - A man is facing a felony charge, after admitting to CPD his intent to sell marijuana in Columbus, say police. An arrest affidavit says, Cade Nichelson, 20, was arrested on November 25th, after a traffic stop near the 23rd Street and 33rd Avenue intersection. Nichelson was a passenger in the vehicle, where police say they found; 13 grams of marijuana, a metal grinder, a baggie with marijuana residue, a lighter, a digital scale, and a box of sandwich baggies, states the affidavit. Police say NIchelson admitted to buying the marijuana in Omaha, and intended to sell it in Columbus, states the affidavit. Nichelson was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, and was transported to the Platte County Jail, says the affidavit. Nichelson is due in court on December 20th.
