Police Investigating String of Windows Being “Shot Out”

COLUMBUS - Columbus Police are investigating a string of windows being shot out for the second time this week. CPD received two different reports on Tuesday of windows allegedly being "shot out." One of the vehicles on Tuesday was broken out while the vehicle was being driven, says CPD. CPD say on Thursday they received three more reports of vehicle windows being damaged or "shot out." Similar to Tuesday, one of the vehicle's windows was reportedly shot out, while the driver was driving over the train tracks at 3rd Avenue, says CPD. CPD logs say all three incidents of windows being damaged on Thursday occurred in the 3rd Avenue area in east Columbus. Police say the incidents from both Tuesday and Thursday remain under investigation.
