For former Husker Head Coach Tom Osborne, it truly is ‘once a Husker always a Husker,’ even if that person is now representing another University. Osborne will be helping out his former Husker quarterback, Scott Frost, at his new position as the head football coach at the University of Central Florida.
UCF has announced that Tom Osborne, one of the best and most respected coaches in college football history, will be the featured speaker at the UCF Knights’ kickoff luncheon.
The event will raise funds for the Knights and there is even the option to sit at a table with Osborne during the event for an added fee. Frost is a native of Wood River, Nebraska and had tremendous success as a quarterback for the Huskers under Osborne, and that relationship is paying dividends for him as he makes his way through his head coaching career
