Nonprofit Board Training coming to Custer County

BROKEN BOW–The Nebraska Extension is offering a program called Board Masters: Nonprofit Board Training, to take place in Broken Bow at the Custer County 4-H Building located at the Custer County Fairgrounds.

The training is scheduled for Thursday, September 13 and preregistration is required by September 6. The program starts at 4:30 p.m. and wraps up at 8:30 p.m.

The four hours of training is for seasoned, as well as new board members leading all the hundreds of different nonprofit organizations in the area.

The training is focused on board structure, mission and vision, financial systems and compliance with state and federal laws, board recruitment, assessment, fundraising, and more.
