A 21-year-old motorcyclist has died after his motorcycle collided with another vehicle in Wayne.
The motorcycle, driven by Mark Young III, collided Thursday night with an SUV driven by Isaac Camerena Martinez, 19, in the 100 block of Main Street on Nebraska Highway 15. The two crashed when the SUV began pulling onto Main Street from an alley, according to a Wayne Police Department report.
Responding officers found both vehicles engulfed in flames about 10:45 p.m. Thursday. Young had been thrown from his motorcycle, while Martinez was able to get out of his vehicle.
Both drivers were taken by ambulance to Providence Medical Center in Wayne, where Young died.
Wayne is about 30 miles northeast of Norfolk.
