Missing Iowa Man Found Safe in Nebraska

UNDATED - A missing elderly man has been located safe and is being returned home. Hampton, Iowa, Police Chief Robert Schaefer says that 80-year old James Boylan has been located in Nebraska, and is being returned to family members. Boylan had been reported missing on Monday. Law enforcement officials indicated that he had been spotted in Laurel Tuesday afternoon.  By Wednesday morning Boylan was reported in Merriman, which is in western Cherry County and nearly 500 miles away from Hampton. Chief Schaefer says Boylan was eventually spotted in Clearwater and located by authorities in Meadow Grove.  He is now heading back to Iowa to be reunited with family.
