ANSLEY— An early-morning emergency may have had the best possible outcome. According to a post from the Custer County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, a report was received at 3:21 AM on January 25 that an 80-year-old male was reported missed in Ansley.
Ansley/ Mason City Rescue was dispatched to assist in the search of the man. Within minutes the missing man was located.
CCSO Facebook Post: The outcome would have been much worse if not for the rapid response to this call. This is a prime example of the dedication of men and women in our Custer County communities that respond in a seconds notice to protect and serve their towns. Just imagine a world without these great individuals working to help us in a time of need.
