Melham Medical Center: Visitor Restrictions, COVID-19, And TestNebraska Information

Melham Medical Center: Due to an increase in COVID-19 activity in our state and out of concern for keeping our work-force and community healthy, Melham Medical Center wants to communicate the following information:

Visitor Restrictions: Visitors are restricted to one person if vital to the care of the patient for all services

Emergency Room: If you are having symptoms of COVID-19 and need Emergency Medical attention, please call (308) 872-6891 before you arrive at the ER so our staff can prepare and be ready for your arrival.

Symptoms: Fever or chills, cough, fatigue, shortness of breath, muscle aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea.

Be Diligent: We are asking our employees and the community to be diligent about wearing a mask when in public places, wash hands frequently, and maintain appropriate social distancing. The incubation period for COIVD-19 is estimated 2-14 days (before your symptoms start).

Testing:

  • Visit testnebraska.com to sign up for testing. Melham does TestNebraska COVID-19 test on Friday’s from 8 AM – 10 AM.
  • If you are experiencing symptoms or feel you need a COVID-19 test, call your primary healthcare provider.
