Map of Nebraska’s severe weather

NEBRASKA (Austen Hagood / News Channel Nebraska) – Austen takes a look at our current watches and warnings. There are a lot of different colors on the map this morning and a lot of potential for severe weather.

In the Omaha and Falls City area, along the Missouri River, we have a flood warning in affect throughout today and tomorrow.

As we move further west, we get into a winter storm watch that goes into effect Wednesday afternoon and will be with us until Thursday.

As we get into the Panhandle, we get into a blizzard warning that goes into effect Wednesday morning and will be with us until Thursday morning.

Down in southwestern Nebraska, we have a red flag warning with potential fire weather just outside of McCook.

We will be keeping an eye on these watches and warnings, so stay tuned!
