Man Sentenced to Jail for Meth After Being Caught Shoplifting

COLUMBUS - A man is headed to prison for possession of meth after being caught shoplifting from a local store, says court records. Tayler Randall, 26, was sentenced to 18 months in prison for possessing the controlled substance, says records. Randall was pulled over back in February, after video surveillance showed him reportedly shoplifting a drone-type item, says an affidavit. Police say during a search they found Randall in possession of meth, and took him into custody. Randall also received 9 months of post release supervision and was given credit for 87 days served in jail, says court records.
