COLUMBUS - A Leigh man was arrested on suspicion of raping a 15-year-old, after the two of them had consumed meth and LSD.
Columbus Police state in an affidavit that Tyler Emerson, 21, was arrested after an incident in February of 2017. Emerson allegedly sexually assaulted a 15-year-old two separate times in 24 hour period, with one of the incidents occurring while he was high on methamphetamine and, the psychedelic drug, LSD acid.
The 15-year-old girl told police she was also high on LSD acid at the time of the first sexual assault, says the affidavit.
Police say in the affidavit, that Emerson admitted to having some form of intimate relations with the 15-year-old, who he thought was either 16 or 17 at the time it took place. Emerson told police he found out later that she was 15.
Emerson is charged with a class 2 felony for sexual assault, and is due for an arraignment in Platte County Court on January 24th.
