LBPHD Risk Dial

The dial is stable in the orange this week. The district continues to have a critically high number of cases reported as community spread. Rapid test capacity is extremely limited, TestNebraska continued to have capacity and Melham Medical Center offered an additional testing day this week.

Discussions are being had on the large demand on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that will occur in the coming weeks as Nebraska hospitals continue to feel the drastic increase of hospitalized patients. Other factors that figure into the risk dial calculation include healthcare capacity, and the ability to conduct contact tracing efficiently.

Disclaimer: this risk dial is determined utilizing district-wide data and may not represent an individual county’s current status
