NANCE COUNTY - A man who escaped custody in Lincoln was found and tasered during his arrest in rural Nance County. Nance County Sheriff Ben Bakewell says in a Facebook post, that on April 10th, at roughly 3 a.m., they apprehended Jeremy Kudron with the help of the Nebraska State Patrol, Boone County Sheriff's Office, and Albion Police Department. Bakewell says the Sheriff's Office received a tip that Kudron was hiding out in a rural Nance County farm house. Cordon refused several verbal commands from the sheriff's office, was tasered, and was arrested after a brief struggle, says Bakewell. Kudron was taken to the Genoa Medical Hospital, and then was transported to the Nebraska Department of Corrections Diagnostics and Evaluation Center, says Bakewell. Bakwell thanked the public for the help in locating Kudron. Kudron is currently serving a 15 year prison sentence for convictions out of Platte, Nance, Merrick, and Hall Counties.
