Kansas City Murder Suspect Caught After Manhunt

CUBA, KS – After eluding authorities all day on Thursday, 24-year-old Zachary Barnes has been captured.

The Republic County Sheriff’s Office stated that Barnes was arrested at 10:50 a.m. near the town of Cuba, Kansas.

Barnes, who is wanted for murder in the Kansas City region, caused a lockdown in the towns of Belleville, Concordia and Scandia.
